What do the Featured and Sponsored badges mean?

Featured tools are picked by the AIMAPER editors for a fuller look. Sponsored tools are paid placements. They are labelled Sponsored and, where they appear as ads, Ad. AIMAPER does not use a Verified badge. A sponsored placement does not buy a review, a rating, or a higher editorial rank.
