Overview

AutoClipr is an AI video clipper that turns long videos into short clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. You can paste a YouTube link or upload a video, and AutoClipr finds the moments most likely to work as shorts, adds captions and exports them in vertical format. Its distinguishing feature is automation: it can monitor YouTube channels, detect new uploads and clip them automatically, with no manual editing.

How it works

Connect or paste: add a YouTube link, upload a file or set AutoClipr to monitor a channel.
Detect and analyze: when a new video appears, the AI analyzes it to find strong moments and gives each candidate clip a score for each platform.
Clip and caption: clips are cut, reframed to 9:16 and given automatic subtitles.
Export: download clips or use them on TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

The site says new uploads typically produce clips in about two minutes.

Use cases

YouTubers can automatically get shorts from each new upload to promote it. Podcasters with video can produce clips without an editor. Agencies and clipping teams can monitor client channels and generate clips at scale. Creators can grow a presence on TikTok and Reels using content they already make.

Pricing

AutoClipr is free to start with 30 credits and no credit card required. Paid plans add more credits and features, with no contracts and the option to cancel anytime. Priority support is available on paid plans. See the pricing page for current tiers.

Things to consider

Only clip channels and videos you own or have permission to repurpose; monitoring other creators' channels and reposting their content can infringe copyright and violate platform rules. Virality scores are predictions, not guarantees, so reviewing clips before posting improves quality. Check captions for errors with names and terms.

Who it is for

AutoClipr suits YouTubers, podcasters and agencies who publish long videos regularly and want shorts created automatically every time a new video goes live.
