Overview

British Accent Generator (britishaccent.pro) is an AI text-to-speech tool that focuses only on British English voices. It offers 315 individually profiled voices, which it describes as the largest British voice collection, covering RP and standard British, young British, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish accents. You pick a voice, type your script and download the generated audio.
The voice library
The site breaks the 315 voices down as 118 RP and standard British, 37 young British, 88 Scottish, 37 Welsh and 35 Northern Irish, with 179 male and 136 female profiles. Each voice has a name, an age range, an accent label and a short note on its delivery, for example a clear, measured male RP narrator for longer stories, a youthful voice for storybook dialogue, or a calm, considered female voice for detailed explanations. Regional styles go further: Scottish options include general, Lowland and West Central; Welsh covers Cardiff, South Wales and North Wales; and Northern Irish includes Belfast. The site makes the useful point that an "English accent" usually means England, while a British accent can also be Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish, so it labels each voice by region.
How it works
- Browse the library and preview speakers.
- Paste narration, dialogue, a lesson, an announcement or product copy (up to 100 characters on Free).
- Generate the read in the selected voice.
- Listen in the browser, refine the wording and download.
The site also lists voice effects, voice cloning, voice design, transcription, AI lip sync and a video creator, which use credits.

Who it suits
Video creators, audiobook and story narrators, teachers making listening material, and game or animation makers who need a specific British regional voice rather than a generic "UK English" option.
Pros: unusually wide range of regional British voices; detailed voice profiles make choosing easier; pack credits never expire.
Cons: Free scripts are capped at 100 characters; British English only; cloning and lip sync use extra credits.
