Overview
Enconvo is an AI agent for macOS that lives across your Mac. It can see your screen, work inside your apps and carry out tasks, rather than being limited to a chat window. It runs on macOS 14 or later on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs, is free to start, and has companion apps for iPhone and Android.
PopBar
When you select text in any app, PopBar appears above it with one-click actions. You can fix, translate or ask AI about the text, let fixes land inline, arrange your buttons, make your own AI commands and add extensions.
Voice and capture
Enconvo supports speaking instead of typing, and it can capture what is said, such as in meetings, so you catch every word. It also acts as a second brain that stores knowledge for later.
AI agent
Agent walkthroughs show it performing multi-step tasks. In one, Enconvo analyses an NVDA stock chart, writes a Pine Script trading strategy and backtests it in TradingView, all from the sidebar. In another, it reads a résumé, builds a personal website and helps publish it. A Live Avatar feature lets you talk to an expressive AI avatar that can check the weather and book a restaurant through your browser.
Workflows
You can create workflows from a starter template, add steps by hand or ask the workflow assistant to add them, then run the workflow and check what each step produced. Enconvo lists more than 100 built-in tools and lets you choose between AI providers and models.
iPhone pairing
By pairing the iPhone app with your Mac using a code, you can reach your Mac's projects and chats from anywhere, with each chat continuing to run on your Mac.
