Overview

Interior AI is a web app for redesigning rooms from a photo. You take a picture of a space, choose a room type and a style, and the AI shows you what it could look like, usually in under a minute. It works for interiors, house exteriors and gardens, and it's aimed at homeowners, designers and real estate agents alike.
Modes
The app has several modes for different jobs:
- Interior design: rearrange and restyle the room, moving things around.
- Style transfer: keep the layout but change the look.
- Virtual staging: furnish empty rooms, useful for property listings.
- Sketch2Image and SketchUp screenshot: turn sketches and SketchUp models into photorealistic renders.
- Outdoor design and Empty the space.
Interior AI can also turn renders into 3D fly-through videos, and there's an optional text prompt, which the site warns is experimental.
Rooms and styles
The choice is huge. Room types go well beyond living rooms and bedrooms to home offices, gaming rooms, gyms, patios, pools, coffee shops, restaurants, hotel lobbies, classrooms and more. Styles include Modern, Minimalist, Scandinavian, Japanese, Mediterranean, Midcentury modern, Industrial, Farmhouse, Coastal, Biophilic and dozens of others, and you can upload a photo of a style you like for the AI to copy.
A tip from the app itself: take your photo with 0.5x zoom so more of the room is in frame.
Pricing
Interior AI doesn't have a readable public pricing page (interiorai.com/pricing returned a "not found" error when we checked). Inside the app, a Premium upgrade is advertised that raises the limit to 5,000 interiors a month with priority access and faster responses, so plan details appear after you sign up. Checked October 2026.
Who it suits
Homeowners planning a makeover, real estate agents who need staged photos of empty properties, and designers who want quick visual concepts before detailed work. Results are ideas and concepts, not construction plans.
Pros: very wide range of rooms and styles; virtual staging for listings; sketch and SketchUp rendering.
Cons: no public pricing page; the prompt option is experimental; free usage limits aren't spelled out.
Alternatives
ReimagineHome adds shoppable furniture and budgets. RoomGPT is a simpler room redesigner.
