Overview

Kittl calls itself an AI-first design platform, and it's built mainly for people with something to sell. Print-on-demand sellers, small businesses and agencies use it to make logos, T-shirt and poster designs, packaging, product mockups, listings and ads, all in one browser editor. Kittl says more than 10 million creatives use it.
The editor and AI tools
Kittl's editor is an infinite canvas with real-time collaboration and instant text effects, plus vector and typography tools for designers. The AI Creative Suite adds:
- An AI image generator and an AI vector generator for clean, editable artwork.
- An AI video generator for animating designs.
- A Creative Agent that builds launch-ready assets from a single chat.
- Background remover, image upscaler and vectorizer.
- AI Workflows (Kittl Flows): shortcuts for common merch, marketing and video jobs.
- Kittl Brand Studio: set up your brand once and generate on-brand ads, posts and campaigns.
There's also a large library of templates, mockups, fonts and graphics. Kittl says its 10,000+ premium templates and mockups come from independent designers, and part of each subscription goes to them.
Plans
Kittl has Free, Pro, Expert and Max plans plus business options, billed monthly or yearly. From the official pricing FAQ, checked October 2026:
- The Free plan gives curated templates and tools for personal use only, with no commercial rights. Free users can preview most Pro features with light limits.
- Pro and Expert include a commercial licence for up to 500,000 copies across packaging, marketing, digital and print. Business plans add an enhanced licence beyond that.
- Paid plans add premium templates, high-resolution and vector exports, more AI tokens and Flows. Monthly tokens don't roll over; Expert and Max also get 200 and 600 daily tokens.
- Viewers are free; extra editors are charged per plan. Cancelling doesn't delete your designs.

Who it suits
Etsy, Shopify and print-on-demand sellers, small brands building packaging and labels, and agencies producing lots of ads. Pure illustrators or UI designers will want a different tool.
Pros: strong typography and text effects; mockups and merch templates built in; clear commercial licence terms.
Cons: free plan has no commercial rights; tokens reset monthly; prices are hard to see before you sign up.
Alternatives
Canva covers more general design. Recraft is strong on AI vectors, and Looka focuses on logos and brand kits.
