Overview

nOps is a cloud cost optimisation platform for engineering and finance teams. Its main product automatically manages cloud commitments, such as Reserved Instances, Savings Plans and committed use discounts, so companies pay less for compute without signing risky long-term contracts. It also provides detailed cost visibility, including for AI services.
How it works
You connect your AWS, Azure and Google Cloud accounts, which nOps says takes under five minutes, with read-only access, no agents and no changes to your infrastructure. Its engine then maps your usage patterns, works out the right level of commitments, and buys and manages the mix automatically. Because the rebalancing happens continuously and adapts hourly, the company says you can get large discounts without being locked into commitments you might not use. You track your effective savings rate, coverage and realised savings in a dashboard.
Cost visibility
The visibility product covers multicloud, Kubernetes, SaaS and AI costs. It includes reporting, dashboards, cost allocation, forecasting, anomaly detection with root cause analysis, and unit economics. For AI, it can allocate hourly spend to the model, account, team, customer or feature behind it, covering services such as Bedrock, OpenAI and Claude, and suggests ways to improve token efficiency, model choice and caching. A FinOps AI agent answers cost questions.
Pricing
Rate optimisation is priced as a share of the savings achieved, so you pay based on results. Cost visibility has a fixed fee based on your cloud spend, with a free trial. A free 30-minute savings analysis is available to estimate potential savings.
Who it is for
It suits startups and enterprises with meaningful monthly cloud bills, FinOps and platform teams, and companies whose AI spending is growing fast.
Things to consider
Savings figures such as 50% or more are the company's claims and depend on your workloads. Small cloud bills may not justify a share-of-savings fee. Understand exactly how savings are calculated and billed, and what happens to commitments if you stop using the service. Review the IAM permissions requested, even if minimal, with your security team.
Start with the free savings analysis to see whether the expected savings are large enough for your bill before connecting accounts permanently.
