Overview

Odeist AI is an AI social media agent for founders, creators, small teams and agencies. It monitors X (Twitter) and LinkedIn for people asking for products or services like yours, drafts replies in your brand voice, and writes and publishes posts with AI-generated images and short videos to X, LinkedIn and Instagram. You approve each reply and post from WhatsApp, or let it run on autopilot.
Features
Conversation Radar searches X and LinkedIn around the clock for relevant conversations. GhostWriter writes replies and posts in your brand voice, which the company says aims to be helpful first rather than salesy. WhatsApp approvals let you approve, edit or redo each draft with one tap. Autopilot Broadcast writes and publishes posts with AI images on a schedule, and Reel Factory turns a line of text into a captioned short video. Features listed as coming soon include Reddit monitoring, competitor customer targeting, trend-based posts and reporting on which replies lead to results.
Pricing
There is a seven-day free trial with no card. After that, you pay per social account. Engage, which finds conversations and replies, costs $30 per account per month on X and LinkedIn. Broadcast, which writes and publishes posts, costs $15 per account per month on X, LinkedIn and Instagram. The WhatsApp assistant costs $10 per month, and AI videos cost $0.50 each. The bundle discount halves everything above $100 a month. Prices are in US dollars and billed monthly.
Who it suits
Odeist suits solo founders and small businesses that know their customers ask for help on social media but lack time to monitor conversations and post regularly.
Things to consider
Automated replies to strangers can come across as spam if they are not genuinely useful, and platforms such as X and LinkedIn have rules on automation that can lead to account restrictions. Using the approval step rather than full autopilot is the safer choice. Be transparent where appropriate, and review every reply for accuracy and tone before it is posted.
Starting with a single account and the Engage feature on approval mode is a low-cost way to see whether the conversations it finds are relevant enough to justify the monthly fee.
