Overview

AgentQL is a set of developer tools for connecting AI agents and large language models to live websites. At its centre is a query language: you describe the data you want in a structured, readable query, and AgentQL returns it as JSON. On the homepage, a query asking for a product list with names and prices returns clean records from a shop page. You don't have to write XPath or CSS selectors, which tend to break when a page layout changes.
How it works
Rather than relying on fixed paths through the page's markup, AgentQL uses AI to analyse the page structure and find the elements that match your query. The company presents this as a more robust alternative to fragile DOM and CSS selectors. The same query can be used to extract data or to locate elements to interact with, such as buttons and form fields, so it supports both scraping and browser automation.
Tools
The toolkit includes Python and JavaScript SDKs that work with Playwright and headless browsers, remote browser sessions hosted by AgentQL, an API, and a browser extension for debugging queries in real time on any page. There is a playground for trying queries without setup. Integrations with other agent and workflow tools are listed in the documentation, and there are example queries for common tasks.
Pricing
There is a free trial with 300 API calls, 10 calls per minute and one hour of remote browser time. The Starter plan is $0 a month, with 50 API calls included, then $0.02 per call. It also includes 10 hours of remote browser time, then $0.12 an hour, and five concurrent sessions. Professional costs $99 a month, with 10,000 calls included, then $0.015 per call. It also includes 500 browser hours, 100 concurrent sessions and priority email support. Enterprise plans are custom.
Things to consider
AgentQL is aimed at developers, so you'll need some programming knowledge to use the SDKs or the API. As with any web data tool, check the terms of the sites you query and respect their limits. Pages that change heavily or require logins may still need extra handling, and usage-based billing means high-volume pipelines should estimate their call and browser-hour needs in advance.
