Overview

Banani is an AI copilot for UI design. You describe a product in plain language and it generates editable, multi-screen interface prototypes in seconds. The company says it is used by more than 100,000 people, including product managers, founders, designers, students and indie hackers.
Generate from text
The core workflow turns a text description into interactive designs. You can then refine them, share them and export them. Starter options include SaaS, Android, iOS, landing page and wireframe designs. One user notes that you can click an element and Banani generates the screen the user would see next, which helps when mapping out flows.
Generate from references
You can drop in images, screenshots or Figma links. Banani extracts the visual style and layout, so you can generate fresh ideas in the same style or recreate a UI one-to-one.
Styling
You can ask the AI to make a design more playful, more minimal or anything in between, and fine-tune colours, typography and other design tokens by hand to match your brand. A newer brand assets feature is also listed.
Share and export
A link to a project or a single screen lets teammates give feedback. When you are ready, you can export to Figma, HTML/CSS or images.
Use cases
Product managers use it to create quick wireframes that communicate ideas, founders to mock up products before hiring a designer, and designers to explore directions quickly. Testimonials praise its simplicity and minimal interface.

Who it suits
It suits non-designers who need clear mockups and designers who want a fast starting point for early concepts.
Things to consider
AI-generated screens are a starting point; check usability, accessibility and consistency before handing designs to developers. Exported HTML/CSS will usually need cleanup for production. When recreating a UI from a screenshot, avoid copying another company's protected design or branding.
Banani can also connect over MCP so coding agents can access your designs directly. It was founded by Vlad Solomakha and Vova Parkhomchuk, and free tools include image to wireframe, image to Figma and a colour wheel.
