Dokko

Dokko is a document AI platform for teams that work with contracts, manuals, policies and other long documents. It ingests a document set and answers questions about it, citing the file and section each answer comes from. It can also take actions in the tools a team already uses. Its tagline sums up the aim: read deep, act fast.

How it works

The site gives an example. A user asks for the notice period for terminating a supply agreement, and Dokko replies that either party may terminate with 90 days' written notice after the initial 12-month term, citing the relevant clause. When the user asks it to draft a termination notice and send it to legal, Dokko drafts the notice, posts it to a Slack review channel and files a Jira ticket. Answers are tied to specific documents, so they can be checked against the source.

Embedding and customisation

Besides the internal chat, Dokko offers a customer-facing widget that can be embedded on a website. The dashboard lets you set the theme, accent colour, header, body and footer styles, with separate palettes for light and dark mode, and gives you embed code to place the widget. Larger plans offer a premium parser for complex documents.

Pricing

Dokko charges a flat monthly subscription with three meters: pages, tokens and tool actions. Each comes with a monthly allowance, and beyond that you choose, meter by meter, whether to pause or pay the published overage rate. Imports show a page cost preview first. Starter costs $99 a month, with 7,000 pages, 10M tokens, 500 tool actions and 48-hour email support. Pro costs $199 a month, with 20,000 pages, 20M tokens, 1,000 tool actions, an optional premium parser and 8-hour support. Enterprise is custom. There is a 14-day trial.

Things to consider

Teams handling sensitive contracts or regulated data should review Dokko's security and data handling terms. A BAA is listed for Enterprise. Cited answers make verification easier, but legal and compliance decisions should still be reviewed by a qualified person. Estimating your page volume before importing helps you choose the right plan and avoid hitting caps.
