Overview

Scrapingdog is a web scraping API for extracting data from websites at scale. Instead of running your own proxies, browsers and CAPTCHA handling, you send a request to Scrapingdog and get back the page or structured data. It is aimed at developers, data teams and businesses that need reliable web data for research, monitoring or AI applications.
How it works
The general web scraping API handles proxy rotation and headless browser rendering, so pages that rely on JavaScript can be scraped. Alongside it, Scrapingdog offers dedicated APIs for popular sources, such as Google search results, Amazon and other ecommerce sites, and LinkedIn, which return parsed results as structured JSON instead of raw HTML. Examples on the homepage show product data from a fashion retailer returned as structured fields, including sizes with measurements, fit, materials, country of production, care information, images and links.
Enrichment API
A newer Enrichment API enriches leads with verified emails and company and person data.
Pricing
Scrapingdog uses request credits. A free plan gives 100 credits forever, with 1 concurrent request, access to all APIs, community support and no credit card required. Lite is $40 a month for 200,000 credits and 5 concurrent requests, with geotargeting and email support. Standard is $90 a month for 1,000,000 credits and 50 concurrency, with priority email support. Pro is $200 a month for 3,000,000 credits and 100 concurrency, with team support. Premium is $350 a month for 6,000,000 credits and 150 concurrency. Annual billing gives two months free. Every plan unlocks every API, failed requests are never charged, and you can cancel at any time. Different APIs and options use different numbers of credits per request, so check the documentation to estimate your costs.
Who it suits
It suits developers building price monitoring, SEO tracking, lead generation or AI data pipelines who don't want to manage scraping infrastructure.
Things to consider
Scraping can break a website's terms of service, and laws on collecting data vary by country. Scraping personal data, such as LinkedIn profiles or emails, raises privacy obligations under laws like the GDPR, so get legal advice for those use cases. Respect rate limits and robots.txt where appropriate.
