Overview

WizWrite is an AI dictation and voice-to-text app. You press a hotkey, speak naturally, and it produces polished text such as an email, a to-do list or a summary, ready to use in whatever app you are working in. The site describes on-device transcription and a Privacy Mode included in every plan.
How it works
There are three steps: press the hotkey, speak naturally and see the output. The site's example shows a rambling spoken request, full of hesitations, to email a colleague about a launch, turned into a clear email with a subject line and a short message. The company claims it is about five times faster than typing, since you can speak at full speed without worrying about typos.
Actions and integrations
Custom AI Actions define what your speech is turned into, such as a message, an email, a to-do list, a summary or an automation. Output can be sent to tools like Slack, Notion, Gmail, Google Docs and Trello through webhooks and Zapier, and there is a Chrome extension. WizWrite says it understands many languages without changing settings, showing greetings in Spanish, Japanese, French, Thai, German, Chinese, Korean, Italian, Hindi, Portuguese and Arabic.
Devices
There is a native Mac app with system-wide hotkeys and menu bar access, apps for iPhone and iPad with private offline transcription, and a web version for any browser. One subscription covers all devices.
Pricing
Basic is $19 a month with the Mac and iOS apps, Privacy Mode, on-device transcription, 5 custom AI actions, the Chrome extension and Zapier. Premium is $39 a month with 50 custom actions, unlimited transcriptions, webhooks and priority support. Team is $119 a month with three seats, shared actions and team management.
Who it suits
WizWrite suits busy professionals, founders and people who think faster than they type and write lots of emails and notes.
Things to consider
Always read the polished output before sending, because the AI rewrites your words and may change meaning or tone. Check which steps run on your device and which use cloud AI, particularly for confidential content. Dictation works best in quiet places. Compare the monthly price with built-in dictation on your devices to decide whether the extra features justify it.
