Overview

Fotor is an online photo editor, collage maker and design tool, and its AI section covers almost every quick image job you can think of. The menu is long, so it helps to think of it in groups.
Fix and improve photos
An AI image enhancer, unblur, sharpen, HD converter, 4x upscaler, old photo restoration, colourise, retouching, colour correction and basic resize and crop.
Remove and replace
Background remover and changer, transparent PNG maker, object and person remover, text remover, a hairstyle changer, outfit changer, an image text editor and a newer image translator that translates text inside photos. Fotor also lists a watermark remover; use it only on images you have the right to edit.
Styles and generators
Photo to anime, cartoon, sketch, painting, watercolour and line drawing filters, plus an AI image generator using models such as Flux, GPT Image 2, Nano Banana Pro and Seedream. There are generators for headshots, avatars, portraits, faces, characters and tattoos.
Video, design and product visuals
A video generator (with Veo, Kling, Hailuo, PixVerse, Seedance, Wan and Grok listed), video enhancer and video background, watermark, object and text removal. Design templates include a collage maker, logo, flyer, card and passport photo makers. For online sellers there are ghost mannequin, AI fashion model and flatlay-to-model tools.
Pricing
Many tools can be tried free. Paid plans are called Pro, Pro+ and Max, with 100, 300 and 1,000 credits a month respectively, more concurrent generations, AI Agent chats and tasks, and cloud storage from 2GB to 500GB. Pro also includes batch background removal and multiple brand kits. Unused credits roll over while you're subscribed, up to five months' worth. Fotor also sells one-off AI headshot packs from $26.99 for 20 images.
The plan prices were shown with discounts and special offers when we checked, so we haven't quoted them. See fotor.com/pricing. Checked October 2026.
