Overview

Picsart calls itself an AI creative platform. Videos, images and audio for social channels all start from one prompt box, where you pick from more than 180 AI models, including Seedance, Nano Banana, Kling, Veo, Flux and Runway. The pitch is that one subscription covers all of it.
What you can do
- Generate videos, images and scenes from a prompt, with start and end frames, references and audio.
- Follow trends: a big library of effects and templates for viral formats, filters, dance videos, cartoons, collages and seasonal themes.
- Picsart Aura: edit with an agent instead of manual tools.
- Agents: more than 20 "creative agents" you can hand tasks to.
- Picsart Flow: build repeatable content workflows.
- Classic tools such as background removal, plus a library of 168K+ assets and plugins.
There is also a community side: creators post their work, and Picsart runs challenges with prizes, often tied to a new model launch.
Plans and credits
Paid plans work on monthly credits, and the pricing page shows how many credits each model uses per image or per few seconds of video. From the official page, checked October 2026:
- Pro: $15 a month, or $10.50 a month billed yearly (the page says that saves $54 a year). Roughly 100 Nano Banana Pro images a month.
- Ultra: $75 a month, or $60 a month per seat billed yearly, with five times Pro's credits and larger credit options for heavy use and teams.
Yearly billing saves up to 30%. At the time of our check, Pro and Ultra subscribers also got unlimited WAN 3.0 generations until 31 October, outside API, CLI and MCP use. See picsart.com/pricing for the full table.
Who it suits
Social media creators and small brands who want trending effects and many models in one place. If you only need one specific model or professional retouching, a specialised tool may be simpler and cheaper.
Pros: huge model choice; lots of ready-made trend templates; agents and workflows for repeat jobs.
Cons: credit costs vary widely between models; the interface is busy; promotions change often.
Alternatives
Canva is stronger for layouts and design. Fotor and Pixlr are lighter photo editors with AI tools, and getimg.ai is a simpler multi-model studio.
